For over 111 years, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated has been on the frontlines of voter advocacy and protection. One of the first actions of our 22 Founders was to stand with women for the right to vote. We have proudly extended this legacy into the 21st century by boldly standing for the rights of citizens to freely participate in the electoral process at all levels, actively educating and empowering communities to vote, and protecting those rights when challenged.
Unveiled at our Delta Days Social Action Luncheon on March 12, we proudly launched a national get-out-the-vote campaign. A lot is at stake: the right to vote, choose, and learn our history. What’s next? Born from our legacy of advancing women’s lives and strengthening our nation, today, we face our 1913 moment—where hard-earned rights are threatened. It’s time for action. Stand up, engage, organize, and speak out. Vote 🗳️ ✊🏾 Let’s change the world together.
