Bring it Home – Absentee/Mail-in Ballots Initiative
IT IS TIME TO BRING HOME THOSE BALLOTS!
HOW DO YOU VOTE ABSENTEE?
Every state is different! However, you generally have to apply for an absentee ballot from your local board of elections or Secretary of State’s Office. Some offices will allow you to apply electronically, and others may require a paper request.
Go to vote411.org/deltasigmatheta for information about your state.
WHAT IS THE DEADLINE FOR RETURNING THE BALLOT?
This also depends on your state! Some states require the absentee ballot to be postmarked on or before election day. Other states require your ballot to be AT the clerk’s office or board of elections ON election day for it to count.
You can find out more information about what your state requires at vote411.org.
