"God, make me so uncomfortable that I will do the very thing I fear. "

Xi Chapter, at the University of Louisville, was chartered April 15th, 1922. The Chapter Sorors have excelled in programming, campus and community service as well as academics. During the fall 2017 semester, their programming included Delta GEMS, tackling LGBTQ concerns/providing resources, empowering their peers with credit/budget/financial planning tips, and World AIDS day programming. Their service was impeccable and included a Neighborhood Trick-or-Treat for canned goods in support of the Salvation Army Food Bank, collecting and sending water and non-perishables to Puerto Rico after Hurricane Harvey and serving with Volunteers of America. Their awards have included winning the University of Louisvilles Student Organization of the Year for 2017, Fall 2017 NPHC StepShow, receiving the honor of the November and December Midwest Region Soror(s) of the month; Miss (University of Louisville) Cardinal for the 2017-2018 year, and The University of Louisville's Trew Friend Chapter selectee for the "Gift of Life: Organ Donation Challenge" winner. Though the chapter has worked tirelessly, theyve done so while maintaining a fall semester chapter cumulative GPA of 3.287! Xi Chapter Sorors are excited to kick off spring 2018 semester in sisterly fashion by collaborating with the Louisville Alumnae Chapter's Arts & Letters Committee for the Black Panther Delta RED carpet event on February 20th and again at UofLs Sexual and Domestic Violence Awareness Program,(Take Back the Night) , in March. These programs only scratch the surface of the great programming and service events they have planned! Xi Chapter embodies the ideals of our illustrious sisterhood and truly deserves to be recognized for their great work to both the campus and the at-large community they serve.
