In addition to being applauded for their work within the organization’s Five-Point Programmatic Thrust, Midwestern chapters were acknowledged for their M3 Innovative Programs which received seed grants from the National Scholarship and Standards Committee. The Hallmark Health Program Award emphasized the importance of cancer awareness and prevention, and Midwest STEM Initiative recognition was given to chapters completing programs focused on youth STEM education. The luncheon ended in spectacular fashion as members were asked to climb aboard the “Midwest Soul Train” in preparation for the Regional Conference which will be held in Cincinnati in 2018.
