This was the first public act of the newly-formed Sorority and the foundation of Delta’s social action efforts today. s JOURNAL Winter 2017 s11 DJ: How do you think your previous experience and/or involvement in Delta has prepared you for the position you now hold? DJB: My tenure as National Treasurer, chair and member of the National Finance Committee, service on various non-profit boards, coupled with my education and professional career provide me an excellent foundation for my second term as National Treasurer. I have in-depth historical knowledge of the Sorority’s fiscal operations, and I have a clear appreciation for the relevance of the financial success and growth of our great Sorority. DJ: If you could have personally witnessed any moment in Delta history what would it have been. DJB: If I could go back to a moment in Delta’s history, I would go back to March 3, 1913. I would have not only witnessed the Women’s Suffrage March, but I believe I also would have participated.
