  1. Family Registration Fees

Adult $ 40.00
Children (12 and under)  $ 25.00

The registration fee entitles the family member to a badge, unlimited entry into the Exhibit Trade Show and all public non-subscription events. The fee includes shuttle bus service.
  1. SPECIAL EVENT SUBSCRIPTION TICKETS

Sorors may also purchase tickets for all subscription activities when they preregister. These activities are:

Tickets must be purchased at the same time you register for the convention. You will not be able to log on and purchase tickets only. Tickets for all subscription events/special activities are non-refundable.

Tickets will be sold on-site based on availability. Tickets sold on-site will cost an additional $10 per ticket, per function.

Special packages are not available.

  1. PAYMENT

Sorors may pay their registration by credit card, via our secured Webserver online, cashiers check (no personal checks), money order, or wire transfer.

  1. Credit Card Payments:
    Sorors paying by credit card do not click the submit button more than once. If you encounter an error, print the error page and contact the National Headquarters Help Desk, at the numbers indicated on the Online Help Desk section.

    Sorors paying by credit card will receive a confirmation number. This confirmation number will allow you to make housing reservations.

  2. Cashier’s Check and Money Order Payments: Sorors paying by cashier’s check or money order will receive an acknowledgment number. Print your acknowledgment receipt and send a copy along with your payment to:

  1. Wire Transfer Payments: Sorors paying by wire transfer will receive an acknowledgment number. Print your acknowledgment receipt. Complete the wire transfer form and take it to your respective bank for transaction. Mail a copy of your completed wire transfer form and acknowledgment receipt to:

Your payment must be received within (10) ten business days to hold your reservation and the tickets purchased.

Your registration will not be processed until the payment has been received.

  1. REGISTRATION CONFIRMATION

For sorors registering with a credit card, an official confirmation will be emailed within five (5) to seven (7) business days of submission. An email address must be provided.

For sorors registering and paying by cashier’s check, money order, or wire transfer, an official confirmation will be mailed within 10-14 business days, after receipt of your payment.

The National Convention packet, which includes your Registration Confirmation Card and instructions for registering, will be mailed to each financial member on or before June 30, 2008. The barcode on the bottom of your Registration Confirmation Card will be scanned on site to print your badge and tickets. The Registration Confirmation Card must be signed by you and given to the registrar to receive your convention materials.

Please be sure to review the contents of the convention packet carefully and promptly upon receipt. Review for correct spelling of your name and chapter affiliation. If you find an error, please return the entire convention packet to the attention of Deborah Somerville, Interim Director of Information Systems. Also, send an email to conventionservices@deltasigmatheta.org , indicating the date the convention packet was returned and the nature of the error within the packet. A corrected convention packet will be forwarded to you, if received and corrected by July 7, 2008. Otherwise, your convention packet will be available for pickup at the onsite registration desk. If you are financial and have not received this material by July 7, 2008, please notify the Registrar at National Headquarters.

  1. INCOMPLETE/INCORRECT REGISTRATION
    Incomplete/incorrect registrations will not be processed and will be returned.

  2. TRANSFER OF REGISTRATION

    Convention registration transfers will ONLY be accepted / completed / processed on-site.

    Convention registration may be transferred in full from one Delta to another provided the transferee is financial for the 2008-2009 fiscal year.

    In order to transfer a registration, the Delta to whom the registration is being transferred must present the Registration Confirmation Card and a letter signed by the soror whose fees are being used.

    This letter must clearly state that the bearer has authorization for the transfer of the convention registration.

  3. CANCELLATION POLICY

    A portion of the Registration Fees paid in advance is refundable upon the receipt of a written notification to National Headquarters.

    Registration fees paid in advance are refundable less a 50% cancellation fee, if written notice is received and postmarked on or before June 30, 2008.

    Any refund requests received postmarked on or after July 1, 2008 will not be honored.

    The cost for tickets for subscription events/special activities is nonrefundable.

    Checks will be issued approximately 120 days after the Convention.

  4. ON-SITE REGISTRATION PROCEDURES AND FINANCIAL TRANSACTIONS

    Please be advised that to insure that we have adequate materials for those sorors who pre-register,

THE ON-SITE REGISTRATION DESK/COUNTER WILL OPEN ON FRIDAY, JULY 25, 2008, AT 10:00 AM.

The Registration desk for TRANSFERS/ADJUSTMENTS will open, THURSDAY, JULY 24, 2008, at 9:00 a.m. for non-monetary transfers and adjustments. If you need to make transfers or adjustments that require the payment of fees, you may do so beginning, Friday, July 25, 2008, at 10:00 a.m.

The Voting and Alternate Delegate must present the Delegate Certification Form properly completed with signatures.

Financial sorors, who are not the voting and alternate delegate, and who pay the registration fee may attend the convention as a non-voting delegate and participate in all the activities, except voting.

The confirmation card must be presented to receive a badge holder, convention bag and other materials.

Annual Dues/Grand Chapter dues are not accepted at the convention site.
